SILS – Breaking Down Barriers: Women in Corporate Leadership
2023-09-14 @ 18:00:00 - 19:30:00 HKT
細閱只需 3 分鐘
Despite compelling evidence that more diversity in senior management ranks increases organizational performance, the proportion of women in key leadership roles in business remains low in most organizations in Hong Kong. Women face a unique set of challenges when progressing into senior leadership positions, including unconscious bias, a scarcity of role models, and a peer group that continually shrinks the more senior they become.
On Thursday, September 14, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. HKT, join us at the Yuen Campus for Breaking Down Barriers: Women in Corporate Leadership, part of the Social Impact Leadership Series, a program under The Hong Kong Jockey Club Programme on Social Innovation.
The talk will feature Christina Hachikian, clinical associate professor of strategic management at Chicago Booth. She will talk about how we can elevate the impact of women business leaders to expand their influence, what tools can women employ to help themselves and each other rise, and how do we collectively advance diverse leadership for both corporate and social good.
Jocelyn Hao, Director, Regional Operations of Starbucks Asia Pacific, and Yuka Shigetomi, Partner, Greater China Assurance Leader for Japan Business Services of Ernst & Young, will share their perspectives from their rich corporate and social experience locally and regionally. Please come join us for an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and this critical impact conversation!
